    Wizz Air Announces Eight New Routes from London-Luton to Spain, Italy and Austria

    The ultra-low-cost airline will launch connections to Milan, Rome, and Vienna in 2025, followed by five Spanish cities in 2026, reinforcing its primary UK base.

    Wizz Air has unveiled a major expansion of its European network from London Luton Airport (LTN), its largest base of operations in the United Kingdom. The ultra-low-cost carrier announced a total of eight new routes that will connect the British capital with key destinations in Spain, Italy, and Austria, in a deployment that will be executed in two phases.

    In the first stage, starting October 26, 2025, the airline will inaugurate services to Italy and Austria, high-demand markets for both tourism and business travel. The routes and frequencies are as follows:

    The second phase of the expansion will focus on the Spanish market. Beginning March 29, 2026, just in time for the Easter and summer season, Wizz Air will connect Luton with five of Spain's most important cities.

    All services will be operated using the latest-generation Airbus A321neo aircraft, considered the most efficient and sustainable in its category and a cornerstone of the airline's business model. Tickets are now available on Wizz Air's official channels.

    Yvonne Moynihan, Managing Director at Wizz Air UK, stated that they are excited to announce these new routes and added, "While some airlines stick to siestas, we're bringing serious competition with our signature low fares and high-efficiency model." Moynihan emphasized the company's focus on making travel accessible and affordable to all.

    Jonathan Rayner, Chief Commercial Officer at London Luton Airport, said they are "delighted to have secured these exciting new Wizz Air routes at the airport," as they provide passengers with "even greater choice and new opportunities to enjoy the delights of Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, Seville and Valencia."

    The announcement is part of Wizz Air's £12 billion "Customer First" transformation plan, aimed at expanding its UK operations. To celebrate the launch, the airline organized a scavenger hunt across London, offering free flights to participants.
