London’s most premium airport — if one had to be picked — is perhaps London City Airport. Given its closeness to the local business hubs versus the other airports, it is a favorite particularly for corporate travelers.

Its very short runway (TORA, Take-Off Runway Available, stands at mere 1,199 meters) and steep approach profile have made it popular with enthusiasts. The airport, until 2020, received the prestigious Club World London City service, an all-Business flight by British Airways connecting the airport to New York/JFK via Shannon.

British Airways is the fixture in the airport.
