In the middle of last week, the company announced that it will increase its services from Texas with the opening of four new routes in the coming months:

    • Dallas-Love (DAL) – Miami (MIA): five weekly frequencies. Starts 22 September.
    • Dallas-Love (DAL) – Las Vegas (LAS) – Oakland (OAK): service with an intermediate stop operated by the same aircraft. One daily frequency. Starts on 1 November.
    • Dallas-Love (DAL) – Gunnison-Crested Butte (GUC): five weekly frequencies. Starts on 18 November.
    • Austin (AUS) – Dallas-Love (DAL) – Gunnison-Crested Butte (GUC): service with an intermediate stop operated by the same aircraft. Five weekly frequencies. Starts on 18 November.
New JSX routes from and to Dallas and Austin.

In a press release, Alex Wilcox, the company’s CEO, said: «As outdoor destinations continue to top the list of desired getaways for leisure and business this fall and winter, we are excited to expand our flight offerings in California, Texas, and Florida for those in search of a reliable, simple, and safe travel option».

    The JSX service

The company provides an innovative, private flight-like service at more affordable rates. For example, it offers a baggage acceptance and clearance process at private terminals, which streamlines the necessary procedures prior to boarding.

The aircraft interiors have a 1-1 configuration, allowing each passenger to have access to the aisle. Half of the seats also have a cocktail table next to them. Onboard service includes gourmet snacks and alcoholic beverages at no extra charge.

Last week, JSX became the first customer to test the connectivity service provided by the Starlink satellites, developed by SpaceX.

The company has its main operating bases in Burbank, Oakland, Las Vegas and Phoenix. It operates a fleet of Embraer ERJ-135ER, ERJ-135LR and ERJ-145ER aircraft.

In addition, the company has a partnership with JetBlue that allows customers to book itineraries through the New York-based airline’s channels. Passengers can earn TrueBlue frequent flyer programme points after using JSX’s services. The company also partners with United Airlines and its MileagePlus programme.
