Turkish Airlines has unveiled the Pet Lounge, the first-ever facility in the airline industry designed to enhance the travel experience for passengers flying with their pets.
Located in Concourse B at Istanbul Airport, this innovative service underscores the airline’s commitment to passenger satisfaction and comfort, according to a report by Aeroin, one of our partner media outlets.
Spanning 250 square meters, the soundproof and internationally certified Pet Lounge offers unparalleled care and comfort for traveling pets. Under the supervision of an on-site veterinarian, the lounge features an outdoor terrace for walks, 36 spaces for cats, 32 spaces for dogs, and 10 spaces for birds, all designed with soundproofing and odor control. Additional amenities include special care areas, automated feeding and hydration systems, ensuring pets' well-being before their flight.

In addition to the Pet Lounge, Turkish Airlines has introduced several new initiatives to enhance passenger experience:
