They improve parking at Bariloche Airport
Starting May 15, Aeropuertos Argentina will open two new payment stations at San Carlos de Bariloche’s Tte. Luis Candelaria International Airport, aiming to reduce passenger wait times and ease the exit process from the terminal.
The new payment kiosks will be located on the ground floor of the arrivals public hall, inside the terminal building, replacing the outdoor booths previously in use. According to the airport operator, this relocation is intended to enhance user experience and improve traffic flow in the parking area.
Payment options will include cash, credit and debit cards, Mercado Pago, WhatsApp (ADA), and ATM transactions using a point-of-sale device. The exterior QR code payment method will also remain available via designated signage.
The company highlights that the prepaid ticket system is designed to speed up vehicle departures and reduce potential congestion, especially during peak airport activity periods.
This winter season, Bariloche Airport is set to experience an unprecedented level of connectivity, particularly in the international segment.
Azul Linhas Aéreas will launch flights from three Brazilian cities—Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre, and Campinas—while Aerolíneas Argentinas and LATAM will operate daily from São Paulo, and SKY Airlines from Santiago.
This will be complemented by a wave of student charter flights from neighboring countries, including more than 30 flights from Punta del Este, Uruguay.
In the domestic market, Bariloche will offer more than 150 weekly flights in July, with Aerolíneas Argentinas, JetSMART, Flybondi, and LADE connecting the city with Buenos Aires (Aeroparque and Ezeiza), Córdoba, Bahía Blanca, Mar del Plata, Mendoza, and Rosario.
