Initially, it will operate five weekly frequencies. In July, flights will be increased to six per week and in July there will be a daily service in both directions. The airline expects to carry more than 9.000 passengers between Lima and Miami every month. So far, more than 15.000 tickets have been sold.

«The new route to Miami is a milestone for our international reactivation, another example of our enormous commitment to tourism and connectivity in Peru, as it will contribute to the arrival of more American tourists at affordable prices», said José Raúl Vargas, SKY’s General Manager in Peru.

At the same time, the executive highlighted the high demand observed so far in the routes marketed. In the same vein, he highlighted the company’s good expectations on the eve of the northern summer season.

During the ceremony held on the inauguration of the route, Peru’s Vice Minister of Tourism, Julia Isabel Álvarez, stressed the importance of diversifying the offer of commercial air service on international routes that promote inbound tourism through competitive fares.
