    Ryanair, Italy’s leading airline, is planning seven new routes from Rome (Fiumicino and Ciampino) to Croatia, Poland, Sweden, Portugal, France, Malta and Sweden. The low-cost airline will base two new Boeing 737 aircraft at Fiumicino with an investment of $200 million, creating 60 new jobs for pilots, cabin crew and engineers.

    Ryanair schedule to Rome in summer 2024.

    • 7 new routes: Fiumicino (Dubrovnik, Gothenburg, Lisbon, Paris and Malta) and Ciampino (Gdansk and Riga).
    • 82 routes in total.
    • 2 new Boeing 737-based aircraft (17 in total).
    • Rome traffic grew by 15% to 11 million passengers per year.
    • More than 8,600 jobs.

    Ryanair criticizes tax hikes that make Italian airports less competitive compared to other EU states such as Portugal, Spain and Greece, To continue the growth of tourism in Italy, the low cost airline provides new routes and promotes affordable fares.

We look forward to welcoming millions of Roman citizens/visitors aboard Ryanair flights to/from Rome Ciampino and Fiumicino airports next summer,» said Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary.
