Porter Airlines begins flights to San Francisco
On January 25, Porter began nonstop flights to San Francisco International Airport, the company’s second destination in California. The carrier will compete in this segment with Air Canada and United Airlines.
Flight PD669 was operated in an Embraer E195-E2 registered as C-GKQO and took off from Lester Pearson International Airport at 10:56 local time and landed at San Francisco International Airport at 13:27, after five hours and 32 minutes.
This service will be complemented by the daily operation to Los Angeles. In total, the airline will have two destinations in California with of 3,696 weekly seats. The airline continues with its expansion plans in the United States.

- San Francisco – Toronto Flight PD 670 SFO 14:50 – YYZ 22:46 daily flights.
Flights are operated on Embraer E195-E2s seating 132 passengers in single-class configuration: the service offers complimentary beverages, premium snacks, free and fast in-flight Wi-Fi and no intermediate seating, Porter has a partnership with Alaska Airlines that allows customers to access more destinations on the west coast of the United States.
The airline’s U.S. network has service to Boston, Newark, Fort Lauderdale, Washington-Dulles, Los Angeles, Orlando, Chicago-Midway, Miami, Fort Myers, San Francisco, Tampa and soon to Las Vegas.
