Orlando-Sanford Lands New International Route with Arajet's Punta Cana Flights
Dominican airline Arajet continues its strong expansion in the U.S. market, confirming today that it will add Orlando as its sixth destination after Miami, San Juan-PR, New York-Newark, Boston, and Chicago.
According to information shared on social media by Orlando-Sanford International Airport, Arajet will begin operating three weekly flights from Punta Cana starting October 26.
Flights between Punta Cana and Orlando-Sanford will run on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. There is a special promotion offering up to 30% off tickets using the code HOLAORLANDO.
Arajet’s arrival marks a milestone for Sanford Airport (part of Vinci Airports), which has worked intensively in recent years to position itself as a viable alternative to Orlando International Airport (MCO). Currently, Allegiant Air is the only airline with regular operations at Sanford, flying to 57 U.S. cities.
