Lynx Air launches new route between Montreal and Los Angeles

Lynx Air, the Canadian ultra-low-cost airline, has announced the opening of its new route between Montreal (YUL) and Los Angeles (LAX) for the upcoming summer season of 2024. The new service will commence on July 11, 2024, with three weekly flights and will transition to a daily flight from August 11, 2024.
To celebrate this new route and the rapid expansion of its network, Lynx Air is offering a limited-time 25% discount on all its destinations. The airline adds its fifteenth route to the United States and the third to the city of Los Angeles.
Vijay Bathija, Commercial Director of Lynx Air, expressed: «This new route will be great news for travelers to California and for U.S. visitors eager to explore the province of Quebec and other parts of Canada. This summer, Lynx will offer four destinations from Montreal with over 11,700 weekly seats.»
«California is an exciting hub of leisure and entertainment, and we are eager to connect travelers with it, along with Montreal as a vibrant artistic and cultural destination. Simultaneously, we aim to boost tourism by offering a great flying experience at an ultra-affordable price,» Bathija added.
On the other hand, the Vice President of Airport Operations and Air Service Development at ADM, Stéphane Lapierre, said: «ADM Aéroports de Montréal is delighted that Los Angeles has been added to the list of Lynx Air destinations. It’s a new gateway to the second-largest city in the United States, where travelers will have the opportunity to discover its numerous beaches, as well as a destination rich in history and culture, marked by the world of cinema.»
Recently, Lynx Air launched two new routes to the U.S. from Toronto (YYZ), Boston (BOS), and San Francisco (SFO). The airline is experiencing strong network growth, accompanied by an increase in its Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft fleet. The company expects to receive its 10th aircraft in the coming weeks.
