Low-cost airline JetSMART launches Bogotá–Cali route with three daily flights
JetSMART, the low-cost airline, has launched operations on the Bogotá–Cali route, adding three daily flights between the two cities. The new connection aims to improve air connectivity within Colombia, responding to the growing demand for travel between two of the country’s major urban centers.
Travelers can earn miles through American Airlines’ AAdvantage program and pay only for the services they use. As a launch promotion, the airline is offering the discount code “1VLOCALI” from April 1 to 4, with up to 30% off tickets for travel between April 7 and September 30.
Since launching its domestic operations in March 2024, JetSMART has transported over 3.2 million passengers across Colombia. The airline currently operates 17 domestic routes connecting 10 cities with a fleet of eight A320neo aircraft.
Cali now joins JetSMART’s growing domestic network, which already includes Medellín, Cartagena, Santa Marta, and soon, San Andrés. From Bogotá, the airline also flies to Medellín, Pereira, Cartagena, and Santa Marta.
