During the first year, the flight performed in the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, the largest model in LATAM’s widebody fleet with capacity for 410 passengers, had an average occupancy factor of 91%. The aircraft is configured with 38 Premium Business, 50 Economy Plus and 322 Economy seats.

In view of the good results, as of January 2024, LATAM will increase the operation of the Sao Paulo-Rome route from 3 to 5 flights per week, as well as expand service on the Sao Paulo-Milan route from 4 to 5 flights per week. In total, the company will offer 8,200 seats per week between Brazil and Italy on 10 weekly flights.

«LATAM has become a more efficient and competitive company in recent years and is, therefore, the company that most connects Brazil to Italy today, with regular and direct flights to Rome and Milan from our Guarulhos hub. We are satisfied with the first year’s performance of the route to the Italian capital and have decided to expand our operation between the two countries,» said Aline Mafra, LATAM Brazil’s Sales and Marketing Director.
