LATAM Airlines Expands to São Paulo’s Third Airport with Flights from Brasília
LATAM Airlines Brasil Announces New Domestic Route Between Brasília and Campinas/Viracopos
Starting August 1, 2025, LATAM Airlines Brasil will launch a new domestic route connecting Brasília (BSB) with Campinas/Viracopos (VCP). The service will include three daily round-trip flights operated with Airbus A320 family aircraft, configured to carry 174 passengers.
Campinas, located in the state of São Paulo, is considered a strategic point due to its proximity to São Paulo’s capital and the growing role of Viracopos as a logistics hub. LATAM aims to capture both business and leisure traffic on a route already served by other carriers such as Azul, which uses Viracopos as its primary hub.
From Brasília, flights will depart at morning, afternoon, and evening intervals, while the return flights from Viracopos to Brasília will also operate three times daily, ensuring smooth connectivity for travelers moving between the Federal District and São Paulo’s interior.

The addition of this route is part of LATAM’s broader strategy to strengthen its position in the Brazilian market, particularly by expanding point-to-point routes with high potential demand. Industry data shows the Brasília–Campinas corridor has seen steady growth in passenger traffic, driven by both business travel and regional tourism.
This connection also enhances access from Brasília to São Paulo’s interior without needing to transit through Guarulhos or Congonhas, helping to ease congestion at major hubs and providing more direct alternatives.
