LATAM Airlines Adds Codeshare Flights with WestJet Between Orlando and Three Canadian Cities
LATAM will market WestJet-operated flights from Orlando to Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver starting October 26, 2025.
LATAM Airlines strengthens its North American network by expanding its codeshare agreement with WestJet, a Canadian carrier based in Calgary. According to booking system data, beginning October 26, 2025, three new routes operated by WestJet from Orlando (MCO) to Calgary (YYC), Edmonton (YEG), and Vancouver (YVR) will also be marketed under LATAM’s LA code.
As reported by aeroroutes, this move aligns with the Northern Hemisphere’s winter 2025/2026 season and aims to enhance connectivity options between Canada and South America, particularly for passengers entering North America via Florida, a key gateway for LATAM’s U.S. operations.
WestJet will operate the flights while LATAM markets them as its own, integrating them into its global network and allowing point-to-point bookings in a single transaction. This integration not only expands access to secondary markets in Canada, but also provides South American travelers with smoother connections to the Canadian West Coast.

The existing partnership between the two airlines already includes routes such as Toronto–Orlando and Toronto–Los Angeles, and these new additions further solidify their cooperation amid growing competition to capture traffic between South and North America.
So far, there has been no announcement on whether WestJet will reciprocate by placing its code on LATAM-operated routes, or whether the alliance will expand to other destinations in Canada or the United States.
