Customers of JetBlue‘s TrueBlue frequent flyer program can now earn or redeem miles on select Cape Air flights when booking travel on the JetBlue website or mobile app. JetBlue’s customer benefits with Cape Air are further expanded with a partnership that began in 2007 – the first codeshare agreement

Cape Air currently serves 32 cities in the United States and the Caribbean, with a schedule of more than 250 daily flights. Over the years, the partnership between the two airlines has grown to provide convenient connections between New York, Boston and San Juan, Puerto Rico, to destinations throughout the Northeast and the Caribbean, all in one booking.

«As our first airline partner, we couldn’t be more excited to expand our partnership with Cape Air to offer our customers the ability to earn and redeem TrueBlue points through our TrueBlue loyalty program,» said Chris Buckner, vice president of loyalty and partnerships for JetBlue.

“For 17 years, we have built our partnership with a shared vision of connecting and delighting customers in the communities we serve,” said Lisa Shivdasani, senior vice president of airline and commercial partnerships for Cape Air.

As part of this partnership, customers can purchase tickets on eligible Cape Air flights in the Northeast and Caribbean, redeem TrueBlue miles for these itineraries and earn TrueBlue miles. JetBlue has scheduled a daily service to Presque Isle, Maine, and in January will begin service between Manchester, New Hampshire, and several cities in Florida.

Also, this winter, JetBlue will average more than 40 flights daily and serve up to 18 destinations from San Juan, Aguadilla and Ponce. The Cape Air operation offers six additional destinations beyond San Juan, including Culebra, Mayaguez and Vieques, Puerto Rico, and Tortola/Beef Island, British Virgin Islands.
