GOL Reports April 2025 Financial Results Amid Chapter 11 Restructuring
GOL’s post-Chapter 11 finances show revenues of R$ 1.7 billion and a slight improvement in cash flow for April.
GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes, part of the Abra Group, released its financial and operational results for April 2025 on May 30. The report was filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, as part of the airline’s voluntary Chapter 11 reorganization process, which began in January 2024.
In April 2025, GOL reported Net Revenue of R$ 1.696 billion (approximately USD 323 million at current exchange rates). During the same period, the airline posted a Net Loss of R$ 440 million (roughly USD 83.8 million).
At the end of April, GOL's Total Cash stood at R$ 2.034 billion (USD 387.4 million). Accounts Receivable totaled R$ 2.585 billion (USD 492.4 million), and Net Debt was R$ 30.945 billion (USD 5.89 billion).
These preliminary, unaudited figures provide insight into the company’s financial health as it navigates its restructuring. Compared to the February 2025 report, GOL showed a slight improvement in cash position (from R$ 1.931 billion) and a modest reduction in net debt (down from R$ 31.438 billion). Accounts Receivable declined from R$ 3.041 billion to R$ 2.585 billion over the same period.
As reported by partner outlet Aeroin, GOL emphasized that the financial data disclosed in these monthly operational reports are prepared in accordance with the U.S. Bankruptcy Code and other applicable regulations. Therefore, the airline cautioned that these figures "should not be compared with previously disclosed public financial statements, which were prepared using different methodologies."

What do the April 2025 figures indicate? They detail GOL's revenues, losses, liquidity, and debt levels for the month, illustrating the challenges and adjustments involved in its restructuring.
