Flybondi’s ninth Boeing 737-800 arrived in Buenos Aires

This Friday (18) at 20:01 local time, the newest member of Flybondi‘s fleet arrived at Ezeiza airport, reaching nine aircraft for the first time in its history.
The aircraft in question is a 12-year-old Boeing 737-800. At the time of publication, the aircraft has the North American registration N319FA, and will soon receive the Argentine registration LV-KEG.
The delivery flight of the Boeing 737 to Argentina was scheduled to arrive on Friday, November 18 at dawn. For reasons beyond the company’s control, it was diverted to the Panamanian capital on Thursday afternoon when it was making the Blytheville – Guayaquil leg. After staying for almost 15 hours in Panama City, it continued its way to Guayaquil and then Buenos Aires.
«We are very close to meeting the two major goals we set in December when we announced the growth plan: to double the fleet and the number of passengers; and that motivates us to go for more. We have already launched the search for five new aircraft for 2023 and we are convinced that if the market accompanies us, we will have the possibility of reaching a fleet of twenty aircraft in the next 2 years», said Mauricio Sana, Flybondi’s CEO.
«This year we saw a great recovery in domestic flights and record travel and tourism figures, and our operation has already grown with respect to the pre-pandemic. Next year’s projection is to add more people to the freedom of flying,» he added.
