Flybondi to add four aircraft before year-end and at least five more by 2023

During the ALTA Airline Leaders Forum, the largest event of the airline industry in Latin America and the Caribbean that is being held in Buenos Aires this week, Flybondi’s CEO, Mauricio Sana, announced that its fleet plan, which initially planned to reach 10 aircraft by the end of the year, will finally, thanks to an agreement with the lessors, add another two extra aircraft.
This will bring the Argentine ultra low-cost carrier’s fleet to 12 Boeing 737-800s, which doubles the figure for the first quarter.

When asked about how it plans to handle the tie-down of these aircraft considering the space restrictions at Aeroparque Jorge Newbery, Sana said that, if the whole scenario is maintained, they will have no choice but to adapt and have 14 aircraft parked at Ezeiza and 3 at Aeroparque.
