Flybondi has incorporated a third Airbus A320, registered as LY-NVL, under a wet-lease agreement with Avion Express for the remainder of the summer season. This aircraft joins the previously leased LY-MLJ and LY-VEL, increasing the airline's capacity to meet passenger demand through March 2025.

The arrival of LY-NVL marks a new step in Flybondi’s strategy, as the airline has historically operated an exclusive fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircraft. This expansion is aimed at providing greater operational flexibility to accommodate the surge in travelers during the Southern Hemisphere’s summer months.

The A320-200 was delivered through a multi-leg journey before reaching Argentina. On February 2, it departed from Reykjavik (KEF) at 7:00 AM, landing in Montreal (YUL) at 7:54 AM after a 5-hour and 29-minute flight. It then took off from Montreal at 9:00 AM, heading to Miami (MIA), where it arrived at 12:41 PM following a 3-hour and 17-minute flight.

The next day, the aircraft continued its journey, departing from Miami at 7:00 AM toward Trujillo (TRU), Peru, landing at 12:09 PM after a 4-hour and 57-minute flight. Finally, it took off from Trujillo at 3:30 PM and arrived in Buenos Aires (EZE) at 10:37 PM, completing its delivery to Flybondi.

The agreement with Avion Express, initiated in November 2024, allows the low-cost airline to leverage the ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) model, enabling a rapid fleet expansion without the financial commitments of aircraft purchases or long-term dry-lease contracts. This strategy provides a competitive advantage in managing seasonal demand fluctuations.

Additionally, the company signed a wet-lease agreement with the Spanish operator AlbaStar to operate two Boeing 737-800s between November 2024 and March 2025, further strengthening its capacity during the peak season. The first aircraft began operations on November 7 on the Buenos Aires–Ushuaia route, while the second arrived in Argentina on November 9.
