    Delta Air Lines is set to boost its operations in Latin America this northern winter, improving flight frequencies from six U.S. hubs. The growth signifies a 30% increase in available seats compared to last year’s winter season, reinforcing service to nine sought-after Latin American and Caribbean destinations.

    The carrier also establishes a gateway to the United States, offering passengers seamless connections to more than 100 U.S. cities through its central hub in Atlanta. With these new additional services, Delta is expanding frequencies to destinations such as:

    From Atlanta:

    • Three times to St. Thomas
    • Twice to St. Maarten
    • Twice to Guatemala City
    • Three times to San Jose, Costa Rica
    • Three times to Liberia/Guanacaste
    • Six times to San Juan, Puerto Rico

    From New York JFK:

    • Three times to Cancun

    From Detroit:

    • Twice to Punta Cana
    • Twice to Montego Bay
    • Twice to San Juan, Puerto Rico

    From Minneapolis/St. Paul:

    • Twice to Punta Cana
    • Twice to Montego Bay
    • Twice to San Juan, Puerto Rico
    • New service to Liberia/Guanacaste (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday)

    From Boston:

    • Twice to San Juan, Puerto Rico

    Delta will commence the additional services on seasonally beginning January 13. All these routes will be operated on Boeing 757-200, 737-900, and 737-800 aircraft, offering a variety of seating options, including First Class, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin products.

    In addition to the enhanced frequencies, Delta is also introducing an extra service between Seattle – Tacoma and Cancun, departing on Fridays and arriving on Saturdays, seasonally starting December 22 on the Boeing 737-800.

    The airline recently expanded its vacation schedule in Latin America, with many routes now available through April 2024 and 46 destinations served, including resumed services to Curacao and Cartagena. Delta and LATAM Group continue to broaden their network between North and South America through their Joint Venture collaboration.
