    Nolinor Aviation received its first Boeing 737-400, which features the airline’s traditional livery. The aircraft was operated by OMG, a subsidiary of the same company that offered leisure trips to Cuba.

    The 737-400 with registration C-GGWV arrived at Nolinor on September 1, 2020, sporting the OMG scheme. The aircraft is 33 years old and first flew on June 6, 1990.

    The aircraft will serve Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) services for the Canadian mining industry. The rebranding of Nolinor Aviation symbolizes the company’s alignment with its mission to be the main gateway to northern regions.

    In addition to this 737-400, two other aircraft of the same model will be painted and transferred to the parent airline. The registrations of these aircraft are C-GGWX and C-GGWF, with the latter being the next to join the company’s fleet.

    Marco Prud’Homme, president of Nolinor Aviation, said: «The introduction of the 737-400 in Nolinor’s livery is more than just a visual update; it is a clear sign of our unwavering dedication to serving the North.»

    «This aircraft, and those that will follow, are equipped to meet the unique demands of our mining sector customers, offering them a more tailored and resilient travel experience», added Prud’Homme.

    Interior Renovation

    The 737-400 C-GGWV will also undergo a significant interior upgrade, along with the other two 737s. The cabin will be equipped with new and sturdier seats, incorporating specific amenities for passengers traveling to mining operations.

    Nolinor has a fleet of 11 aircraft, consisting of:

    • 6 Boeing 737-200;
    • 1 Boeing 737-300;
    • 3 Boeing 737-400;
    • 1 Boeing 737-800, operated for OMG.
