British Airways resumes flights to Rio de Janeiro

On Wednesday (1) at 11:14 p.m. local time, the first British Airways flight from London – Heathrow arrived at Rio de Janeiro International Airport. The company had suspended operations between the two cities since December 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
British will have four weekly flights to and from the Brazilian city on Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft. With this schedule, the airline will offer 856 seats per week on each leg.

Sao Paulo and Santiago de Chile, as we reported, resumed their regular operations to and from London. Flights to Buenos Aires return on Friday, December 3rd.
