As a result of the Israel-Hamas conflict, US airlines suspended their operations in Israel. United was the first US airline to resume flights to Tel Aviv from New York/Newark.

Flights began with a technical stopover at Munich airport and non-stop service began on March 6. United operates 318-capacity Boeing 787-10 aircraft at Tel Aviv and plans to add a second daily flight from New York/Newark.

United continues to monitor the situation in Tel Aviv and adjust schedules as warranted, including changes to service to New York/Newark. As demand recovers, the company expects to resume flights to San Francisco, Washington, and Chicago beginning in the fall.

Air Canada expects to resume flights to Tel Aviv from Toronto-Pearson beginning April 9 and from Montreal beginning May 1, both services to be operated on Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.

Delta Air Lines will tentatively resume daily service between Tel Aviv and New York JFK beginning May 1 on Airbus A330-900neo aircraft. Routes from Boston and Atlanta remain suspended, and American Airlines resumes its New York-Tel Aviv route beginning October 28.
