Avianca Ecuador Launches New Guayaquil–Miami Flights, Expands U.S. Connections
Avianca Ecuador has launched its new route between Guayaquil and Miami, joining American Airlines on this key international link. With the addition, the airline now operates three direct services between Ecuador and the United States, complementing its existing routes from Quito and Guayaquil to New York-JFK.
Tickets for the new route are now available through the airline’s website and standard sales channels.

Service begins October 28, 2025
- Flight AV 7378: GYE 6:50 PM – MIA 11:15 PM (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun)
- Flight AV 7380: GYE 7:05 PM – MIA 12:30 AM (+1 day) (Tue, Thu)
- Flight AV 7377: MIA 12:45 AM – GYE 5:20 AM (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun)
- Flight AV 7379: MIA 2:00 AM – GYE 5:35 AM (Tue, Thu)
All flights will be operated with Airbus A320 aircraft, configured for 180 passengers. Promotional round-trip fares start at $368.
More Flights to the Big Apple
In addition to the new Miami route, Avianca is increasing its Guayaquil–New York-JFK service from 7 to 9 flights per week. On this route, the airline competes with JetBlue, and soon, LATAM Airlines.

Avianca currently operates 11 international routes from Ecuador to destinations in El Salvador, Argentina, Colombia, the United States, and the Dominican Republic.
