    This week, Argentina’s interior regions will be at the forefront of aviation market developments as two airlines launch new routes.

    Humming Airways Launches Flights Between Aeroparque, Villa María, and Venado Tuerto

    On Tuesday, the 11th, at 8:00 AM, the first Humming Airways flight will take off from Aeroparque Jorge Newbery bound for Villa María, arriving at 8:00 AM. At 8:20 AM, the flight will continue to Venado Tuerto, marking the first-ever air route between these two cities. The flight will then depart Venado Tuerto at 9:30 AM, landing back at Aeroparque at 10:20 AM.

    Humming Airways will operate two weekly flights between Aeroparque, Venado Tuerto, and Villa María on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the following schedule:

    • AEP 07:00 - 08:00 VNO 08:20 - 08:40 VMR / Tuesday
    • VMR 08:55 - 09:15 VNO 09:30 - 10:20 AEP / Tuesday
    • AEP 16:00 - 17:00 VNO 17:20 - 17:40 VMR / Wednesday
    • VMR 17:55 - 18:15 VNO 18:30 - 19:20 AEP / Wednesday

    Flights will be operated with a Fairchild Metroliner, seating 19 passengers, leased from Royal Class. Ticket prices start at USD 225 per leg.

    Next week, Humming Airways will also launch flights connecting Buenos Aires, Tandil, and Olavarría.

      Paranair Returns to Salta After Six Years

      On Wednesday, the 12th, Paranair will launch its Asunción-Salta route, marking the Paraguayan airline’s return to the city after six years. The inaugural flight will depart from Silvio Pettirossi International Airport at 1:45 PM, arriving in Salta at 3:15 PM. The return flight will leave Salta at 4:00 PM, landing in Asunción at 5:30 PM.

      Paranair will operate twice weekly between Asunción and Salta on Wednesdays and Saturdays, using CRJ200 aircraft with a 50-passenger capacity. Salta becomes the airline’s fourth destination in Argentina, after Buenos Aires, Córdoba, and Jujuy. This new route will allow connections to Buenos Aires, Ciudad del Este, and Montevideo via Paranair’s hub in Asunción.

      • ASU 13:45 - 15:15 SLA / Wednesday
      • SLA 16:00 - 17:30 ASU / Wednesday
      • ASU 11:55 - 13:25 SLA / Saturday
      • SLA 14:10 - 15:40 ASU / Saturday

      Tickets are listed on Paranair’s website starting at USD 136 per leg.
