Air Transat Expands Winter 2023/2024 Schedule Connecting Canada and Europe

Air Transat plans to operate more than 40 flights per week between Canada and Europe during the winter 2023/2024 season, offering connections to major European cities from Montreal (YUL), Toronto (YYZ), and Quebec City (YQB).
The leisure airline aims to concentrate its long-haul operations on destinations in France, Spain, Portugal, and the United Kingdom during this period. Michèle Barre, Air Transat’s Chief Revenue Officer, stated, «We are proud to present an ambitious flight schedule that is even more attractive than our pre-pandemic offering.»
Barre also revealed the airline’s strategy to expand service to several French regions, with Lyon and Marseille routes operating throughout the winter and flights to Nantes continuing until mid-January.
Montreal-Europe Schedule
Air Transat is set to fly from Montreal (YUL) to seven European cities during the northern winter. The airline has adjusted its business model, reducing seasonality in its European operations by offering year-round service to Marseille (MRS) and Lyon (LYS) and extending nonstop service to Nantes (NTE) through January.
- Lisbon, Portugal (LIS): twice weekly
- London – Gatwick, United Kingdom (LGW): three weekly flights
- Lyon, France (LYS): three times weekly
- Malaga, Spain (AGP): three weekly flights
- Marseille, France (MRS): twice weekly
- Nantes, France (NTE): twice a week until January 13, 2024
- Paris, France (CDG): daily flights
Toronto-Europe Schedule
The Canadian leisure airline will connect Toronto – Pearson (YYZ) to six European cities, with a total of 20 weekly flights. Additionally, Air Transat plans to increase operations to Faro (FAO).

- London – Gatwick, United Kingdom (LGW): daily flights
- Manchester, United Kingdom (MAN): twice weekly
- Faro, Portugal (FAO): twice a week

Quebec City-Europe Schedule
Air Transat will be the sole airline offering non-stop flights between Quebec City and Europe during the northern winter season.
