    Air Lease Corporation announced the signing of long-term lease agreements with Uzbek airline Qanot Sharq for five Airbus A321neo aircraft, including three A321XLR and two A321neo LR. The delivery of these units is scheduled for 2026 and 2027 from the company’s order portfolio with Airbus.

    "We are pleased to strengthen our collaboration with Qanot Sharq and support its expansion with the addition of these new Airbus A321neo LR/XLR," said AJ Abedin, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Air Lease Corporation. "These planes will help expand the airline’s network and improve its operational efficiency by offering greater range and lower fuel consumption, ensuring high-quality service in the Uzbek market."

    Nosir Abdugafarov, owner of Qanot Sharq Airlines, highlighted the importance of this agreement for the company’s growth strategy.

    "The addition of these aircraft represents a key step in expanding our fleet, allowing us to open new routes, optimize fuel efficiency, and enhance the passenger experience. As Uzbekistan’s first private airline, we are committed to innovation and growth, and this agreement reinforces our vision of expanding our network without compromising service quality."
