Air France launches flights to Orlando

Air France has launched direct service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) and Orlando International Airport (MCO), strengthening its transatlantic network and adding a second Florida destination alongside Miami. This marks the second new European route recently introduced at Orlando.
The inaugural flight, designated AF 96, was operated by an Airbus A350-900 registered F-HYTD, named “Nice.” The aircraft departed Paris at 17:17 local time and landed in Orlando at 20:26 local time, completing the journey in nine hours and nine minutes. Notably, this route marks Air France’s return to Orlando, a destination it last served in September 2012.
With this addition, Air France becomes the third SkyTeam member airline to link Orlando with Europe, joining Delta Air Lines’ service from Amsterdam (AMS) and Virgin Atlantic’s routes from London-Heathrow (LHR), Manchester (MAN), and Edinburgh (EDI).
The flight schedule for the Paris (CDG) – Orlando (MCO) route is as follows:
- Flight AF 096: Paris (CDG) 17:05 – Orlando (MCO) 20:45
- Flight AF 097: Orlando (MCO) 23:00 – Paris (CDG) 13:30 (+1 day)
These flights operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The Airbus A350-900 assigned to this route features 32 seats in Business Class, 24 in Premium Economy, and 266 in Economy.
Air France’s extensive U.S. network includes service to major cities such as Atlanta, Boston, Chicago O’Hare, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Detroit, Houston-Intercontinental, Los Angeles, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Newark, New York-JFK, Phoenix Sky Harbor, Raleigh/Durham, San Francisco, Seattle-Tacoma, and Washington-Dulles.
