Flight AF 476 was operated by an Airbus A350 registered as F-HTYL and named “Pointe-à-Pitre”, which left Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport at 11:07 local time on October 28 and arrived at Salvador International Airport at 16:20, after nine hours and twelve minutes.

Air France is the third European airline to offer scheduled passenger flights at Salvador International Airport, complementing the services of TAP Air Portugal from Lisbon and Air Europa from Madrid. In addition, LOT Polish Airlines offers charter flights from Warsaw

“The Air France flight connects Bahia with the world. It represents a historic milestone for Bahia tourism, the result of the collaboration between the State Government, the French airline and Vinci Airports,” highlighted Maurício Bacelar, Bahia’s Secretary of Tourism.
