Air Arabia Maroc inaugurates its first two routes in Seville

The Moroccan airline Air Arabia Maroc inaugurated this Monday, June 20th, its regular flights to and from Seville International Airport (SVQ). Thus, it will link for the first time the Andalusian city with Casablanca (CMN) and Tangier (TNG). Operations will be carried out with Airbus A320 aircraft.
Until September 19th, it will offer two weekly services, on Mondays and Thursdays, between Seville and Casablanca. On the other hand, on June 25th it will inaugurate connections between Seville and Tangier. Until September 17th, it will offer three weekly frequencies, on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
Seville became Air Arabia Maroc’s third destination in Spain. The company already offered flights to Madrid-Barajas (MAD), Barcelona-El Prat (BCN) and Málaga (AGP).
According to Aena, the airport management company, the new routes represent «an important boost to the diversification process that has taken place in recent years in the list of airlines operating at the Seville aerodrome».
On the other hand, they highlighted the schedule between Seville and Morocco. During the summer season, there will be connections with eight cities in the African country and the available seats will double that of 2019. Ryanair is the main operator between both markets: currently, it connects Seville with Agadir (AGA), Fez (FEZ), Marrakech (RAK), Rabat (RBA), Tangier (TNG) and Tetouan (TTU).
