The event featured the participation of international speakers, local regulators, airline representatives, aircraft manufacturers, and leaders from the airport community. During the activities, panels and presentations addressed key topics such as the state safety policy, airport construction management, and the Safety Management System (SMS).

The CEO of Aeropuertos Argentina, Daniel Ketchibachian, emphasized that «operational safety is a key pillar of our daily work and one in which we invest the most resources, not only in Argentina but also in all the airports we operate worldwide.» Meanwhile, Martín Guadix, Director of Operations and Maintenance for the company, stated: «Before operational safety, nothing. This event reinforces our commitment and drives us to build a shared safety culture under the principles of SMS.»

Among the speakers and panelists were representatives from the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC), the Argentine Air Navigation Company (EANA), Airbus, FlyBondi, JetSMART, Aerolíneas Argentinas, and international airports such as Montréal-Trudeau and Belo Horizonte. Key figures also included Hernán Gómez, Undersecretary of Air Transport of the Nation, and Esteban Maddonni, National Director of Aeronautical Accident Investigation of the JST.

Particularly noteworthy was the panel by Daniel Lopez Fernandez, Flight Safety Enhancement Manager at Airbus, who presented a series of technological innovations from the European manufacturer: SURF-A, ROPS, RunwaySense, and TLM (Taxiway Landing Monitoring), aimed at reducing risks during takeoff, approach, landing, and runway collisions.

Luc Nadon, Deputy Director Compliance & SMS at ADM Aeroports, explained the complex task of managing the expansion works at Montréal-Trudeau, with the particular challenge of maintaining operations with minimal disruption while ensuring operational safety.

Safety Day marked a milestone in the Argentine aviation industry by establishing itself as a platform for exchange and learning to strengthen operational safety, a critical aspect for ensuring the sustainable development of aviation in the country and the region.
