Aerolíneas Argentinas to Resume Direct Córdoba–Posadas Route Starting June 3
Starting June 3, Aerolíneas Argentinas will resume its direct flight route between Córdoba and Posadas, with twice-weekly frequencies on Tuesdays and Thursdays, according to an announcement from the government of Misiones province. The route had initially been slated for a July return, alongside the Córdoba–Resistencia connection.
The reactivation of this route enhances regional connectivity and, according to provincial authorities, will expand access to Misiones’ tourist destinations for travelers from central Argentina.
Flights will depart Córdoba at 1:15 p.m. on Tuesdays (arriving in Posadas at 2:50 p.m.) and at 12:05 p.m. on Thursdays (arriving at 1:40 p.m.). Return flights from Posadas will depart at 1:00 p.m. on both days, arriving in Córdoba at 2:45 p.m.
The flight plan also includes a triangular routing via Buenos Aires, as the aircraft continues its journey between Córdoba and the national capital. This, according to provincial officials, enhances connection options to and from Misiones.
“This connection opens the door for more people to visit our forests, rivers, cuisine, and culture. It's always good news when we’re more connected,” said Tourism Minister José María Arrúa.
Posadas will become the 13th destination served by Aerolíneas Argentinas from Córdoba, and the second in Misiones, alongside Puerto Iguazú, which sees three weekly flights.
At Córdoba’s Taravella Airport, the airline currently operates around 110 weekly flights, including services to Buenos Aires/Aeroparque (58), Buenos Aires/Ezeiza (12), Bariloche (3), Comodoro Rivadavia (2), Rio de Janeiro (2), Puerto Iguazú (3), Jujuy (4), Mendoza (8), Neuquén (6), Punta Cana (3), Salta (5), and Tucumán (4).
Meanwhile, Posadas Airport handles 15 weekly flights to Aeroparque and two to Ezeiza.
