The Argentine pilot and filmmaker Enrique Piñeyro announced yesterday through his Twitter account that his Boeing 787-8, which performs humanitarian tasks around the world for the NGO Solidaire, will receive a special plotting to demonstrate against the executions being carried out by the Iranian government.

Along the fuselage the plane will display three phrases: «No woman should be forced to cover her head», «No woman should be killed for not covering her head» and «No man should be hanged for saying this».

On the tail the design displays on one side the photo of Mahsa Amini, the Iranian woman who was arrested in September by the morality police because she was not wearing her veil properly and later died in custody, an event that sparked the wave of protests still ongoing in the Persian nation.

On the other side there is a photo of Iranian footballer Amir Nasr-Azadani, 26, recently sentenced to death for participating in the protests and, according to the regime, having participated in an armed group that killed members of the security forces, although witnesses denied this.

In his publication, Piñeyro also emphasizes the importance of the players also speaking out at the World Cup final between Argentina and France.

Since acquiring the Boeing 787-8 registration P4-787 in February 2021, Enrique Piñeyro and Solidaire have made a series of humanitarian flights around the world helping causes as varied as sending food to African countries suffering war conflicts, medical material to India during the Delta variant outbreak and the transfer of Ukrainian refugees following the Russian invasion of that country.

During the aircraft’s certification period, Piñeyro made one of the longest flights in a Boeing 787 connecting Seoul, South Korea, with Buenos Aires, Argentina. The flight lasted 20 hours and 19 minutes and covered 10,520 nautical miles (19,483 km).
