In 2005, the Argentina – Spain market was centralized in Buenos Aires, with flights to Barcelona, Madrid, Santiago de Compostela and Tenerife. With respect to the companies, there are three that are still active, while others have already ceased their commercial operations for different reasons.

Aerolíneas Argentinas, still private and owned by Marsans, had flights to Barcelona, Madrid and Santiago de Compostela using its Airbus A340, Boeing 747-200 and Boeing 747-400 aircraft. Iberia had a similar schedule to the Argentine company.

This is followed by Air Europa, which continues to operate between the two countries. Moreover, it is currently the only airline that connects Córdoba with Europe.
