Some countries from Latin America have announced flights banning from the United Kingdom. In this case Norway, which is not part of the European Union, is added to the large list.

Sectors of the opposition to the Norwegian government believe that these measures are not enough and that many more controls are needed: many are in favor of mandatory tests at the border. «It does not appear that the government is taking the risk to import infection seriously. Over the summer and fall, the government has introduced a series of testing and quarantine exemptions, and although they become familiar with a mutated virus from a neighboring country, they seem not to be able to act quickly. » These were the words of a leader of the Progress Party to the Norwegian media VG.

Although the air routes schedule between the Nordic country and the British island is light this week, canceling them is a problem anyway. For example, according to Flightradar24 from Oslo Gardermoen airport, which is the main entrance to Norway by air, two flights to/from Heathrow airport in London were scheduled today, one of which was operated by British Airways and the other by Scandinavian SAS. In addition to London-Heathrow, there are connections between Oslo with London-Luton and Manchester.
