The routes included cover both domestic and international destinations. In the domestic market, connections are available from Bogotá to cities such as Medellín, Cartagena, and Barranquilla, as well as flights from Medellín to Santa Marta and Barranquilla, among others. In the international market, highlights include routes to Aruba, Cancún, Punta Cana, Panamá, and Santo Domingo.
The launch of Black Fly comes at a key moment for Wingo, which recently submitted a request to Colombia’s Civil Aeronautics Authority (Aerocivil) to expand its domestic network with 11 new routes. These routes include unprecedented, non-competitive connections, demonstrating the airline’s intention to reduce its dependence on El Dorado International Airport (BOG). Among the requested routes are connections such as Barranquilla – Bucaramanga and Medellín/Rionegro – Valledupar, which currently have no commercial flight offerings. Additionally, the airline seeks to compete on established routes such as Cali – Medellín and Bogotá – Montería, offering up to 14 weekly flights on the latter. In its current promotional campaign, Wingo includes routes such as:

    • Domestic: Bogotá – Barranquilla, Medellín – Cartagena, Cali – Santa Marta, among others.
    • International: Bogotá – Cancún, Medellín – Punta Cana, Cali – Panamá, and more.

Should the newly requested routes be approved, Wingo will further strengthen its network, positioning itself as an attractive option for travelers in secondary markets such as Bucaramanga, Santa Marta, and Valledupar.
