    Continuing with its growth plan after a key 2023 in which it incorporated its first two ATR 42-500s and the cancellation of the loan that the Dutch government had granted to weather the pandemic, Winair, the airline based in St. Maarten, starts 2024 with new routes and frequencies.

    Starting January 15, Winair will have these increases:

    • From Antigua
      • St. Maarten: from two to three daily flights.
      • St. Kitts: two weekly flights.
      • Tortola: five weekly flights.
      • Dominica: five weekly flights.
    • From St. Kitts
      • St. Maarten: two to three daily flights.
      • Antigua: three weekly flights.
      • Dominica: two weekly flights.
      • Tortola: two weekly flights.
    • From Tortola
      • St. Maarten: two to three daily flights.
      • Antigua: one daily flight.
      • St. Kitts: two weekly flights.
    • From Dominica:
      • St. Maarten: two to three daily flights.
      • Antigua: five weekly flights.
      • St. Kitts: two weekly flights.

    In parallel, from its main base in St. Maarten, there will be a third daily frequency to the islands of Saba and St. Eustatius, which will increase to a fourth starting April 1.

    «These routes expansions reinforce WINAIR’s commitment to enhancing regional connectivity and facilitating convenient travel options for customers between our key destinations,» said Winair in a press release.

    In addition to the two ATR 42-500s, WINAIR also operates with a fleet of four De Havilland Canada DHC-6-300 Twin Otters.
