WestJet Expands Code-Share Partnership with Air France and KLM, Strengthens European Connectivity
WestJet is strengthening its presence in Europe by expanding its code-share agreement with Air France and KLM, giving its customers access to more destinations via convenient connections through Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam-Schiphol airports. The partnership allows for single-ticket bookings, enhances the travel experience, and increases connectivity options for Canadian passengers.
For the summer travel season, the Canadian airline plans to launch new routes from Eastern Canada to Europe, reinforcing its commitment to connecting Canadians with their desired destinations.
“As part of our commitment to take Canadians where they want to go, these expanded alliances give WestJet passengers more options to explore 59 sought-after European destinations this summer,” said Jared Mikoch-Gerke, WestJet’s Director of Airport Affairs and Alliances. “With the recent growth of WestJet’s transatlantic network, travelers from across the country will benefit from more options and convenience when flying through Paris and Amsterdam.”
Passengers flying WestJet code-share routes with Air France and KLM will benefit from integrated bookings, seamless connections, baggage transfer, and the ability to earn miles through the Canadian airline’s frequent flyer program.
