    For this winter boreal season, Vistara is increasing its frequencies to Paris (CDG) and Frankfurt (FRA) by more than 100%. To achieve said increase, the airline will receive a third Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner under the leasing modality.

    According to data obtained by Aviacionline through the Cirium platform, as of October 30, 2022, the Tata Sons-owned airline will have an offer of 8,970 seats per week in 36 air operations between India and Europe.

    Vistara will increase its flights between Delhi (DEL) to Frankfurt (DEL) from 3 to 6 flights per week and from the Indian capital to Paris (CDG) will increase from 2 to 5 flights per week.

We wanted to increase frequencies on these sectors and are delighted to finally be able to do so» said Deepak Rajawat, Chief Commercial Officer of Vistara.

    The new frequencies start from October 30 and are available for sale through the airline’s regular channels and website.

    Paris – Charles de Gaulle (CDG)
    • Delhi – Paris Flight UK 21 DEL 14:30 – CDG 20:10 Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
    • Paris – Delhi Flight UK 22 CDG 23:05 – DEL 10:40+1 Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

    Data compiled by Aviacionline through Eurostat indicate that in 2019 between Paris and Delhi 316,688 passengers were mobilized, it was the third busiest European destination from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), Vistara will compete in this market with Air France and Air India.

    Frankfurt (FRA)
    • Delhi – Frankfurt Flight UK 25 DEL 13:20 – FRA 18:40 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
    • Frankfurt – Delhi Flight UK 26 FRA 20:40 – DEL 08:15+1 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

    According to Eurostat data, 494.750 passengers flew between Frankfurt and Delhi prior to the pandemic, the second busiest European destination at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). Vistara will compete in this market with Lufthansa and Air India.

    All flights will be operated on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with a capacity of 299 seats in three classes (30 Business Class/21 Premium Economy/248 Economy).

    International Growth

    In May 2022, Vistara increased frequencies on multiple international routes, including Delhi (DEL) – London Heathrow (LHR) and Mumbai (BOM) – Singapore (SIN) to daily flights, in addition to strengthening operations on other international and domestic destinations.

    Recently, the airline inaugurated non-stop services between Mumbai (BOM) and Jeddah (JED) with three flights a week, as well as the Mumbai (BOM) – Bangkok (BKK) route with five flights a week.

    In a span of seven years, Vistara has raised the level of its operations in Indian aviation by consolidating its position in the market, the company has surpassed the mark of carrying more than 35 million passengers.
