    Virgin Atlantic Airways resumes non-stop flights between London – Heathrow and Dubai for the 2023 winter season, strengthening its Middle East destination offering. The carrier last operated on this route on March 31, 2019 on a daily service operated on Airbus A330s.

    Return to Dubai

    From October 28, 2023, the British airline will resume non-stop flights to the United Arab Emirates with a seasonal service during the winter and will be operated on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with a capacity of 258 seats in three classes (31 Upper Class/35 Premium Economy/192 Economy). The company, through Virgin Atlantic Holidays, is offering package tours starting at GBP 899 per person.

    The new service will provide seamless connections across Virgin Atlantic and Delta’s North American networks allowing customers from Dubai to connect from London Heathrow to destinations such as New York, Seattle, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

    The UK carrier will also offer 20 tons of cargo capacity offering businesses new opportunities to export and import goods between the Middle East and major UK and US markets.

    Virgin Atlantic flight itinerary to Dubai

    • London/Heathrow – Dubai Flight VS 400 LHR 17:35 – DXB 04:40+1 four weekly flights.
    • Dubai – London/Heathrow Flight VS 401 DXB 13:00 – DXB 17:05 four flights weekly.

    According to data obtained by Aviacioline through the UK Civil Aviation Authority, 2,333,127 passengers were mobilized in 2019 between Heathrow and Dubai. For the winter season, Virgin Atlantic will compete in this segment with Emirates and British Airways.

    Virgin’s Middle East and Asia – Pacific destination offerings include services to Tel Aviv, Delhi, Mumbai, Shanghai – Pudong and soon Dubai.
