Virgin Atlantic Airways Expands Caribbean and Indian Ocean Routes, Adds New Manchester-US Service

Virgin Atlantic Airways is enhancing its Caribbean and Indian Ocean services to cater to the rising demand for premium sunny destinations. Additionally, the airline is launching a new service between Manchester and the United States for the 2024 summer season.
Virgin Atlantic to join Skyteam in March
To increase transatlantic connectivity, Virgin Atlantic is introducing a non-stop service from Manchester to Las Vegas in summer 2024. The new route will be facilitated by Airbus A350-1000s with a 397-seat capacity and promotional fares beginning from GBP 770 each way.
According to the UK Civil Aviation Authority, the passenger count for the Manchester to Las Vegas route was 130,542 in 2019. Virgin Atlantic’s latest operation on this segment was on March 29, 2020.
The airline’s transatlantic network from Manchester also provides flights to business hubs like New York and Atlanta, alongside leisure routes to Orlando and Barbados.
Virgin Atlantic Enhances Network of Sunny Destinations
From June 14, Virgin Atlantic’s leisure timetable will include new inter-island services in the Caribbean, offering non-stop flights from Barbados to Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Virgin Atlantic aims to increase its Caribbean presence by offering 150% more premium seats compared to 2019 levels. The new services aim to encourage both international and local customers to explore the Caribbean.
To supplement its premium leisure offerings, Virgin Atlantic is introducing new routes to the Maldives and Turks and Caicos for the winter season.

Virgin Atlantic Holidays is providing package holidays between Barbados and Grenada for GBP 2,395 per person and between Barbados and St. Vincent and the Grenadines for GBP 1,035 per person.
