The U.S. State Department gave the green light to a possible Foreign Military Sale (FMS) to the Republic of Korea for an estimated value of US$6.2 billion. The official certification was delivered to the U.S. Congress by the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), marking a key step in the approval process. This modernization will enable the South Korean F-15K to be equipped with the most advanced technologies available for the Eagle family of fighter aircraft, significantly enhancing their combat and survivability capabilities on the battlefield.
