During this summer, Ryanair became the leading airline operator at Venice (VCE) offering 64,164 seats per week on 338 flight operations and currently operates 24 routes including services to Copenhagen (CPH), Helsinki (HEL), Lisbon (LIS), Madrid (MAD), Menorca (MAH) and Vienna (VIE).

With this announcement Ryanair continues its commitment to the tourism sector in Italy, enhancing domestic and international connectivity, the airline from Marco Polo Airport (VCE) will fly to 11 countries in Europe. To celebrate this expansion the company has launched a promotion with fares for €21.99 per trip until March 2023.

«Despite other airlines having reduced capacity before the crisis by almost 50%, the Save Group has acted swiftly and decisively for the benefit of the Veneto region, ensuring the long-term growth of Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline. This winter we will operate 470% more of our pre-Covid capacity in Venice» said Ray Kelliher, Ryanair’s Route Development Director.

«The arrival of Ryanair’s fourth aircraft at Marco Polo will give a further boost to the traffic recovery started during the current summer season. The reinforced offer of Venice, together with the Treviso base, demonstrates the continuity of the company’s investment in our territory, in favor of inbound and outbound tourism, which can count on a capillarity of connections and the opening of ever new markets» said Camillo Bozzolo, Sales and Marketing Director of SAVE Group Aviation.
