Jannie Davel, Senior Vice President of MSC Air Cargo, emphasized the significance of the AlisCargo purchase. «Acquiring a majority stake in this company represents a crucial advancement in MSC’s air cargo capabilities. This underscores our commitment to providing consistent offerings to our clientele. Equally important, we are excited to collaborate with a partner who shares our vision and has already established a strong foundation, which we aspire to further strengthen,» stated the executive.

Giacomo Manzon, CEO of AlisCargo Airlines, expressed his satisfaction with this development. «I am proud of MSC’s significant investment in AlisCargo Airlines. This will drive our project forward. We value MSC’s confidence, and we are dedicated to crafting a successful story together.»

MSC Air Cargo’s rise in the air freight domain has been propelled by strategic alliances with sales agents and software providers. This facet of MSC Air Cargo complements the maritime services offered by its parent company. Presently, the airline operates two aircraft from Atlas Air Worldwide, facilitating connections between Europe, Central America, and Asia. The company anticipates adding two more aircraft in the next six months, followed by an additional five in 2024.
