LATAM inaugurates route to Neiva
LATAM announced the start of flights between Bogota and Neiva as of January 2, 2022, in the context of the operation’s recovery process.
The route, which has 7 weekly frequencies (one flight each day of the week), operates on Airbus A320 family aircraft.
The company stated «At LATAM Airlines we want to keep bringing the dreams of more Colombians to more destinations in the country. That is why we are pleased to announce the opening of the Bogota-Neiva route, which will allow us to continue to unite our passengers, allowing them to experience the very thing that makes them soar».
The opening of this route comes at a time when airline carriers have called attention to the operational problems at Bogota’s El Dorado Airport due to heavy congestion caused by non-scheduled and military flights at the same terminal, among other factors.
LATAM’s bet to operate new flights in Bogota ratifies its confidence in the terminal’s decongestion plans being implemented by the Civil Aeronautics Authority (Aeronáutica Civil).
