    During the Q1 2023 earnings announcement, the LATAM Group revealed the sale of two of their oldest freight aircraft, the Boeing 767-300s, to an undisclosed buyer. This marks a change in the cargo fleet composition for LATAM.

    The LATAM conglomerate further reported the successful conversion of eight Boeing 767-300 (ER) passenger aircraft into cargo planes. With this fleet augmentation, the total number of Boeing 767 cargo aircraft stands at eighteen. Between 2023 and 2024, the Group intends to complete the transformation of four additional aircraft. This includes replacing the two oldest aircraft aforementioned.

    LATAM Group increases its network to 143 destinations

    According to our affiliate media outlet, Aeroin, LATAM’s cargo fleet currently comprises of nine Boeing 767-300ERBCF and nine Boeing 767-300F production models. Of these, twelve are owned by LATAM, while three are on lease. The Group’s strategic goal is to operate with 19 dedicated freighters by the end of 2024.

    The two sold Boeing 767s are the models with registrations CC-CZZ (msn 25756) and N534LA (msn 32572), having served for 24 and 21 years respectively.
