JetBlue launches flights between Boston and Madrid
JetBlue continues its transatlantic expansion with the launch of new routes connecting Boston with Madrid (Spain) and Edinburgh (United Kingdom). Both services will operate through October 25, 2025, strengthening the airline’s presence in the European market and serving high-demand destinations.
Logan International Airport is solidifying its role as a key hub for JetBlue’s transatlantic operations, enhancing connectivity between the U.S. East Coast and Europe. These new routes offer travelers competitive fares and coincide with the return of seasonal service between Boston and London-Gatwick.
“With our deep roots in Boston, we’re excited to bring even more European destinations to New England travelers, thanks to JetBlue’s affordable fares, quality service, and the convenience of flying nonstop from Logan,” said Daniel Shurz, JetBlue’s Senior Vice President of Revenue, Network, and Business Planning. “This expansion strengthens our European footprint and broadens access to our network across the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean.”
“These new routes open up fresh cultural exchange opportunities with travelers from Spain and Scotland, and allow us to showcase everything Boston has to offer—from our history and world-class cultural institutions to a vibrant culinary scene and a dynamic, growing economy,” said Martha J. Sheridan, President and CEO of Meet Boston. “Whether for business or leisure, we look forward to providing memorable experiences for those choosing Boston as their destination.”
With these additions, JetBlue further enhances its transatlantic network from Boston. In addition to Madrid and Edinburgh, the airline also operates seasonal flights to Amsterdam, Dublin, and London-Gatwick, as well as year-round service to London-Heathrow and Paris-Charles de Gaulle. In total, JetBlue will operate seven daily flights between Boston and Europe.
From New York, JetBlue also offers seasonal routes to Edinburgh and Dublin, with year-round service to Amsterdam, London-Heathrow, and Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
