    Jetblue continues with its international expansion plans, on February 19th it began its flights between New York (JFK) and Puerto Vallarta (PVR), its third destination in Mexico and will operate four times a week.

    The airline will offer flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, and will be operated in a combination of Airbus A320ceo and A321neo.

    JetBlue continues to expand internationally through the Northeast Alliance (NEA) with American Airlines, offering travelers greater choice of destinations from north of the East Coast. The airline will be the sole operator from Puerto Vallarta to the main airport in the New York metropolitan area and also offers service from Mexico to Cancun (CUN) and Los Cabos (SJD).

    With this new service, JetBlue expands its offerings between New York and the Mexican Pacific Coast, offering more frequencies than any other U.S. airline.

    Data obtained by Aviacionline through Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico in 2021 Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR) mobilized 2,271,500 international passengers. This represents a recovery of 70.07% compared to 2019.
