JetBlue continues to expand its transatlantic route network with the introduction of a nonstop service between Boston and Edinburgh. In this way, for the summer season of 2025, the airline will fly to seven destinations in Europe. This year, JetBlue landed in the Scottish capital with a daily flight from New York-JFK.

The seasonal New York JFK-Edinburgh route will be extended and operate from May 8 to October 24. JetBlue will compete in this segment with Delta Air Lines, which offers service on Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. For the 2025 summer season, four U.S. airlines will provide nonstop flights between the United States and Edinburgh.

“This is a slightly early Christmas gift as JetBlue adds a second destination from Edinburgh Airport, providing even more connections between Scotland and the United States. The success of JetBlue’s route between Edinburgh and New York JFK has shown the airline the clear demand for transatlantic travel from Scotland’s busiest airport, and we are delighted to see them add Boston to their schedule and expand that successful service from JFK,” said Gordon Dewar, Chief Executive of Edinburgh Airport.
