Kevin McDonald, JSA’s Chief Executive Officer, stated that the deal represents “an exciting milestone in JSA’s history as a global leader in financing through sale and leaseback transactions of Airbus aircraft.” He also emphasized the company’s intention to strengthen its relationship with the manufacturer and expand its fleet with the A320neo model.

Meanwhile, Benoit de Saint-Exupéry, Executive Vice President of Airbus Sales, welcomed JSA’s decision, saying, “Jackson Square Aviation has an impressive customer base, and we are pleased to welcome them to the Airbus family.” He also highlighted that choosing the A320neo family “adds to their portfolio the market-leading single-aisle aircraft family, known for its outstanding performance and comfort.”

JSA is part of Mitsubishi HC Capital Group, a global leasing company headquartered in Japan and listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

According to Airbus, the A320 family has received over 19,000 orders worldwide, making it the best-selling aircraft in its category. The lineup includes the highest-capacity variant, the A321neo, which offers greater range and operational efficiency. The manufacturer also notes that the A320neo family enables a 50% reduction in noise emissions and at least a 20% decrease in fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions compared to previous generations.

Additionally, Airbus states that these aircraft can currently operate with up to 50% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), with a goal of reaching 100% by 2030.
